Problem
Event data that is retained in the tables 'Evt_Aex_Application_Start' and 'Evt_Aex_Application_Stop' is being purged without regard for the schedule defined by the Application Metering configuration and NS Purging Maintenance settings.
Environment
Application Metering Solution 6.1.32
Cause
The setting 'Purge events older than: xx day(s)' on the Application Metering Configuration page is not working properly. This purging will occur at the interval defined in the 'days' field, even when the check box is 'Disabled'.
Solution
To workaround the problem, follow these steps.
1) Navigate to the Application Metering Configuration page.
2) Under the 'Data Purging' heading, click the check box to Enable the 'Purge events older than: xx day(s)' setting.
3) Set the number of days to '180' - (30days x 6months - to the number of days you want to keep the data) .
4) Click the 'Apply' Button at the bottom of the Application Metering Configuration page.
This will allow up to 6 months of data to be collected, rather than purging the data at 30 days (default setting)
