Delivery Software Tasks using the Software Delivery Agent for Task Server Plug-in do not execute, error seen in the server log (a.log):

Note that the GUID may be different, and the Resource will be the target system.
Another issue fixed by this hotfix is where the Software Delivery Agent for Task Server Plug-in adds a domain ASPNET account to 'Act as part of the operating system' local security policy, which is considered a security hole.

A defect in the Software Delivery Agent for Task Server Plug-in causes a condition where it will not download the package.
The attached hotfix has been submitted to resolve this issue.
To apply the hotfix, simply run the attached EXE on the Notification Server.
If you attempted to apply this before this version was posted on 11/3/2008, please uninstall the previous version and apply this new version that resolved an unforeseen issue with the original post.
The new installer also does not add Software Delivery Agent for Task Server Plug-in domain ASPNET account to 'Act as part of the operating system' local security policy.
