Redirected files are not being place back after restore on the respective profiles, instead the redirected files are being redirected to the first profile listed in the PCT package.

The capture process works properly, if we edit the package we can see that the files are in the right locations

Steps to duplicate with PCT:

 

1- Create 2 or 3 profiles on the machine and add add files to the Quick Launch area (C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer) or just drag and drop the files to the quick launch area in the Taskbar.

2- Once you have create the profiles and have the quick launch files setup, create a PCT template that only will capture Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\*.* and Desktop.

3- Create a redirection for the files. Highlight or select Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\*.* and then click on Advance and place a check mark in New Destination area and on the window type %MI_PERSONAL%\Backup\quicklaunch and save the .PBT file.

4- Run PCTWiz.exe to create the package.

5-After the package is created open it with PCTEdit to make sure that the information was properly capture.

6- Execute the package on a different machine.

7- After the package execution is done go to C:\Documents and Settings\user name\My Documents\Backup for each migrated user and you will notice that the only user that have files migrated to that location is the first user listed in the PCT Package but the other ones have nothing migrated.

Download and install PCT 6.8.1049, then recapture your packages.

To upgrade to PCT 6.8.1049, download and execute PCTSetup.exe from ftp://ftp.altiris.com/Product/PCT/6.8/6.8.1049.

This hotfix also contains all the fixes contained in previous versions of PC Transplant 6.8
