When you have Network Discovery installed, Notification Server can sometimes create duplicates of a computer resource.
Steps to reproduce:
- Using Network Discovery, discover a non-Windows (Unix/Linux/Mac) computer.
- Push install a Unix agent to this computer.
When the agent sends inventory back to the Notification Server, a duplicated resource for the same computer is created.
Notification Server 7.0 with Network Discovery installed.
As a workaround duplicate machines created in this way should be merged.
