Problem

When reinstalling the Recovery Solution Server you get an error stating that the you are unable to install more than one server on a non-load balacing cluster.

Environment

Recovery Solution 6.2
SQL Server 2005

Cause

According to the Altiris Console it does not show that RS has been installed on the server, but it is still present in the RS_Servers table of the Altiris Database.

Solution

In the RS_Servers table of the Altiris Database highlight the row that is associated with the uninstalled RS Server and delete it. Execute the changes and you should now be able to install the RS Server.
