Symantec Management Server Error, cannot open Altiris console

Problem
When trying to open the Altiris Console you see this in your web browser:
You also will see a similar entry to the one below in your Notification Server a.log:
Environment
Altiris Notification Server 7 server with an off box SQL 2005 server in a Domain environment.
Cause
The cause of this error is that the SQL Server Service is using local credentials to start the SQL server.
Using local credentials will start the server but will not allow the proper authentication from a domain user.
Solution
Change the logon settings in the off box SQL server service, to the domain account that is part of the Altiris Administrators group and with the proper rights on the Domain.
