Issue

When setting a resource owner using a connector rule to be a department, as soon as the reset ownership task runs the ownership gets reset to the/an asset user and no longer reflects what was set with the connector rule.

Environment

Observed wtih connector solution 6.5

Cause

For the (default) user association not to be re-created when the cleanup ownership task runs both an asset owner association as well as an asset owner and a percentage needs to be set, so that these settings enforce the department owner to 'stick'.

Solution

For the connector rule to enforce the ownership and be a binding association of a department all of the following must be set;

Data Class Mappings - Ownership Details
Owner, set to the department
Ownership percentage, set to 100% (Value of 100)

Association Mappings - Asset Department Owners
Asset Department owners, set to the department
