Issue

Importing Office 2007 or Word 2007 and then launching Word gives the three
following error messages:

"This document could not be registered. It will not be possible to create links from other documents to this document."

"Word cannot open this document template. c:\users\...\1033\building blocks.dotx"

"There is insufficient memory or disk space. Word cannot display the requested font."

Environment

Microsoft Word 2007 within Windows Vista.

Cause

Calibri, Cambria, and Consolas fonts have a conflict with another file in the base system.

Solution

Removing Calibri makes the following messages no longer appear:
"This document could not be registered. It will not be possible to create links from other documents to this document.""There is insufficient memory or disk space. Word cannot display the requested font"

Removing all versions of the three fonts makes the following message no longer appear:
"There is insufficient memory or disk space. Word cannot display the requested font"

On a Vista Ultimate machine, you may also have problems with the following fonts:

Constan

Candar

Corbel

Segoeui

Gothic

Calaif
