Problem

Attempts to access the Recovery Solution Agent install page on the Recovery Solution server generates the following error.

HTTP 500 Internal Server Error

Environment

Notification Server 6.0 Service Pack 3

Recovery Solution 6.2 Service Pack 2

Cause

The AeXRS_Managers and AeXRS_Users groups on the Recovery Solution Server machine is empty.

Solution

1. Confirm the Users tab of the cluster configuration screen in the console contains entries for the approved users. By default this group contains the Domain Users group.

2. Restart the Altiris Recovery Solution Server service.
