Problem

Lotus Domino selections fail to enumerate within Backup Selections. Remote Agent debug from Lotus Domino Server reports the error "NOTES ERROR! Could not attach to BELNAPI 0:"

Error

Notes Agent: No existing BELNAPI 0: Server. Launching one now.
Notes Agent: launching belnapi.exe "D:\Lotus\Domino\" "beremote" "job" 0

Solution

The first sign that Backup Exec (tm) is experiencing a BELNAPI connection error is that the Lotus Domino selections fail to enumerate within Backup Selections. However, only a Remote Agent debug log from the Lotus Domino Server can confirm that this is actually the issue. Search for the exact error message listed above, in the Remote Agent debug log, to confirm the issue.
