Symantec Backup Exec (tm) 10d rev. 5629 for Windows Servers Installation Files
The installation files for Backup Exec 10d for Windows Servers is available in a single zip file, which is the entire Backup Exec installation CD.
To install Backup Exec 10d for Windows Servers, follow these steps:
1. Extract the contents of Q180958.BEWS10.1.5629.3.zip to a temporary directory
2. Start the Backup Exec installation by running BROWSER.EXE from the extracted files
Product documentation, including the Backup Exec Administrator's Guide, can be viewed by running BROWSER.EXE and selecting Documentation.
Please note that Backup Exec for Windows Servers 10d, 10.1, MP2 are all the same product. The 10d, 10.1, and MP2 naming are used to represent the 10.1 version of Backup Exec in combination with the Continuous Protection Server. Together these products are represented as Backup Exec for Windows Servers 10.1 (10d). Please also note that the Continuous Protection Server components are not included in this download of Backup Exec and are available separately. Please see the Related Documents section of this document for a link to the Continuous Protection Server download.
