Problem
Does Inventory for RIM support the Blackberry 8000 series devices?
Solution
Symantec Inventory for RIM 6.1 supports the 5000 thru 7000 models. The newer 8000 series devices are not supported.
Support for the newer devices will be included in an updated release of Mobile Management 7.x. This new product is approaching beta and will be released the summer of 2010.
