Solution

Veritas Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions 4.1 Maintenance Pack 2 (MP2) release contains patch update packages for the following products :

Veritas Cluster Server
Veritas Volume Replicator
Veritas Storage Foundation/Storage Foundation HA
Veritas Storage Foundation Cluster File System/Storage Foundation Cluster File System HA
Veritas Storage Foundation for Oracle RAC

This maintenance patch provides incident resolutions as well as support for RHEL4 Update3.

Veritas 4.1 release products must be installed before updating them with Maintenance Pack 2 packages. If you have not yet installed a Veritas 4.1 product, see the VERITAS Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions Getting Started Guide for the location of the release notes and installation instructions:

The following upgrades are supported:

Veritas Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions 4.1 to 4.1 MP2

Veritas Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions 4.1RP1 to 4.1MP2

Veritas Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions 4.1MP1 to 4.1MP2

Manual rolling upgrade is supported for the upgrade paths listed above for Veritas Cluster Server only.

After downloading the patch, you can verify the download file with the following command:
