Problem
How to generate a Backup Exec Continuous Protection Server (CPS) Job Report.
Solution
A CPS Job Report can be used to review the following:
Job Consistency status
Current Job State
Last Job Start Time
Last Job Stop Time
The Job Selection List
The current Job Log
The current Pair Log
To generate a CPS Job Report follow the steps below:
1. Open the CPS administration console and select the Job Monitor tab.
2. Select the backup job for which a report will be generated.
3. In the far left hand pane select View job report as seen below in figure 1.

Upon selection, the Loading Job Report progress indicator will appear.

Once the Job Report has completed the output will display in Internet Explorer; the actual file will be located in the temp directory configured for the logged on user.
The Internet Explorer Title Bar and the Address Bar both show the path to the actual file should there be a need to copy or move the file to an alternate location.
An example of a completed Job Report is displayed below in figure 3.
