Desktop Laptop Option (DLO) agents will not function correctly if Administrators lock down DLO share permissions

Solution

DLO agents will not be able to function correctly if Administrators lock down permissions on DLO shares. If restrictive permissions are applied to DLO shares, DLO agents are unable to connect to them thus producing errors.

Note: DLO shares are by default read only shares.

However if Administrators wish to restrict permissions on shares, they may refer the following document provided by Microsoft.
