Problem
How to change the default Desktop Laptop Option's (DLO) Local User Data Folder (LUDF) location
Solution
The default LUDF location can be changed by performing the following steps:
1. Go to Profiles | Properties
2. On General tab there is a field Override the default desktop user data folder path (Figure 1).

This will allow an administrator to alter the default location of the LUDF from the default (for new installs only).
The default location is:
X:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Symantec
In order for the check box to have any effect, it must be selected in the user's profile and the folder must exist on the target agent machine(s) before the DLO agent is installed.
