Event Id's 6621, 6952: Centera Collections stop processing with the error: A EMC Centera Collector thread encountered an error and has stopped.
Error
A EMC Centera Collector thread encountered an error and has stopped.
Solution
Overview:
Centera Collector threads will stop processing if the folders in the Centera Collections area are moved, renamed or deleted. If all Collector threads are stopped because they cannot locate the folder paths, then Centera Collections will stop processing completely and customers will notice a build up of items in the Collections area. No data will be ingested into the Centera.
Troubleshooting:
1. Check the Enterprise Vault Event log. The following Event Id's will be recorded in the Enterprise Vault event log.

Resolution:
To resolve, move the missing
items and folder structure back into the Centera Collections area and restart
the Storage Service.
Note: The Centera collections can be found by:
1. Open the "Enterprise Vault
Administration Console".
2. Expand "Vault
Stores"
3. Click on the "Centera
Vault Store".
4. In the right pane click on
the "Centera Partition".
5. Right click on the partition
then click on "Properties".
6. Click on the
"Collections" tab and record the location.
