To erase media in a drive:

a. Right-click the drive to display the shortcut menu, and then click Erase
b. Select a drive, and then on the Tools menu, point to Device Operations, and then click Erase
2. Click Quick or Long
The following warning is displayed:

No: If you selected multiple media to erase, click this if you do not want to erase the media specified in the dialog box.

Cancel: Click this to stop the erase operation.
