Solution
This is the Late Breaking News (LBN) for the Veritas Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions 5.0 for Windows. This includes Storage Foundation for Windows (SFW), Storage Foundation HA for Windows (SFW/HA), Storage Foundation-Disaster Recovery-formerly the Global Cluster Option (SFW/DR), and the Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) for Network Appliance Snapmirror products.
On June 2, 2010 Symantec revised installation packages and a patch for all currently available and shipping versions of Veritas Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions for Windows provide NO new product features or enhancements, but does contain installer and Config Checker binary modifications to address changes in third party code. In addition, for certain packages and versions, the revised package provides changes to installation behavior. Details on this update on a per package and version basis are as follows:
The revised installation packages for Veritas Cluster Server 5.0, 5.0 RU1 for NetApp, Veritas Storage Foundation/Veritas Storage Foundation HA for Windows versions 5.0, 5.0 RP1a, and 5.0 RP2 contain:
- 1. NO new product features, NO enhancements, NO modifications to product functionality and NO bug fixes.
2. Updated installation and Config Checker binaries to address changes in 3rd party code
There is also a publicly available patch for existing installations of all aforementioned versions of Veritas Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions for Windows contains:
- 1. NO new product features, NO enhancements, NO modifications to product functionality and NO bug fixes.
2. Updated installation and Config Checker binaries to address changes in 3rd party code.

Rollup Patch 2 for Storage Foundation 5.0 for Windows, Storage Foundation High Availability 5.0 for Windows, and VCS 5.0 for Network Appliance Snapmirror is now available for download. (March 3, 2009)
Rollup Patch 1a for Storage Foundation 5.0 for Windows, Storage Foundation High Availability 5.0 for Windows, and VCS 5.0 for Network Appliance Snapmirror is now available for download. (March 12, 2008)
