Problem
Restore jobs of DB2 fail with the error "0xe0000340 - The Database script returned an error. Refer to the Database script output section in job logs for more details".
Error
Final error: 0xe0000340 - The Database script returned an error. Refer to the Database script output section in job logs for more details.
Cause
DB2 is IBM's line of RDBMS or data server software products. The Symantec Backup Exec Agent for DB2 on Windows Servers (DB2 Agent) protects IBM DB2 databases on Microsoft Windows computers.
If circular logging is enabled on DB2, then user must uncheck "Restore database from full and/or incremental backups" option in order to perform restores successfully.
Solution
1. Go to Restore Job Properties| Settings| DB2
2. Uncheck the option "Restore database from full and/or incremental backups" option. (Figure 1)

Restores should now complete successfully.
