Bpend_notify script with modifications for TechNote 287735
Solution
This
bpend_notify script is to be installed
on a UNIX/Linux NetBackup 5.1MP6 client in
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin. It contains most of the editing suggested in
TechNote 287735. All that remains to be done is to replace "someone_who_cares"
with the e-mail address or addresses that should receive these e-mail
notifications. This script should be used for the described work-around
when "client sends e-mail" is configured on the master server.
