Problem
Hotfix for ACE (Automatic Classification Engine) Build 4.7.1801.2 after the ACE journal connector has been installed on the Enterprise Vault Server the journal mail messages with a blank subject line will not archive.
Solution
Journal mail messages with a blank subject line will not
archive after the ACE client journal connector (Build 4.7.1801.2) has been
installed on the Enterprise Vault Server. The messages will stay in the journal
inbox and each message will generate an Event ID 3184 in the Enterprise Vault
application log every (60) seconds. The task will eventually shutdown as the
messages accumulate because to many error messages will be
generated.

Classification Engine) Build 4.7.1801.2. This is the version that is distributed
on the Enterprise Vault 7.0 and Version 7.0 SP1 CD number (2).

How to install this hotfix:
1. Login to the Enterprise Vault
server that is configured with the ACE journal connector as the VSA (Vault
Service Account).
2. Copy the patch to the
Enterprise Vault server that is configured with the ACE journal connector.
3. Follow the directions
below.
Installer:
Double-click the
OES_Integration_4.7_HF001.msp file in Windows Explorer. The Orchestria
ACE installation wizard will launch and click Update to apply the
hotfix.
Command Line:
Run this command:
msiexec
/p <Full path to MSP> REINSTALL=ALL REINSTALLMODE=omus
Note:
Where <Full path to MSP>
specifies the full path and name of this .msp patch package. The /p option
indicates a patch operation.
Uninstalling the hotfix:
Hotfix patch packages can only be uninstalled using Windows Installer 3.x or later.
The hotfix patch can be removed from a command line. For Windows 2003 and XP SP2, Add or Remove Programs applet can be used.
