Problem
When performing an Off-Host Backup, the Backup Exec 11d Remote Agent for Windows Servers service may fail.
Solution
Off-Host Backup is a feature of the Advanced Disk-Based Option feature of Backup Exec 11d for Windows Servers. It has been reported that the Remote Agent for Windows Servers service may occasionally fail during backup when this feature is used.
Workaround
This issue has been reported as being intermittent in nature. As such, the issue may be avoided by periodically stopping and restarting the Remote Agent for Windows Servers service prior to backup.
