This document describes the changes introduced by Enterprise Vault 2007.

When performing a new installation of Enterprise Vault, follow the installation instructions in the Enterprise Vault Installing and Configuring guide. The guide is in the Documentation folder on the Enterprise Vault 2007 media and can be found online at  http://entsupport.symantec.com/docs/289688

When upgrading from an earlier version of Enterprise Vault, follow the instructions in Upgrading to Enterprise Vault 2007. The upgrade to Enterprise Vault 2007 applies changes to the Enterprise Vault Directory database schema, so it is particularly important to follow the upgrade instructions carefully when upgrading multiple Enterprise Vault servers that access the same Enterprise Vault Directory.
