Veritas Provisioning Manager 5.0 Patch 1068201 is now available.  It corrects the following issue:

1068201 - Certain images captured with Version 4.2 can not be used with
         version 5.0 for T2000 sun4v assets and are incompatible for
         operations such as load.

Patch Installation instructions

To apply this patch on a Linux or Solaris Provisioning Manager server:

 1. Download the patch file to a temporary directory.
 2. Rename the patch file:
#mv VPM-5.0+p1068201.tar_290130.gz VPM-5.0+p1068201.tar.gz
 3. Unzip the patch file:
#gzip -d VPM-5.0+p1068201.tar.gz
 4. Extract the patch file:
#tar xvf VPM-5.0+p1068201.tar

 5. Run ./installpatch.sh

The patch installation restarts the Provisioning Manager server processes.

To use the fixes from this patch:
- Perform the Rediscover the asset attribute operation for each of the asset
  on which you want to load the image saved with 4.2.
  To perform the redisover operation, use following path:
  "Computing Devices->Maintenance->Rediscover Asset Attributes"

- Once the above operation is performed, continue with load operation to
  use the 4.2 images.
   
Patch Rollback instructions

To remove this patch from the Provisioning Manager Server:

 1. Change directory to:
<PRODUCT_DIR>/patches/VPM-5.0+patch1-1084664
 2. Run ./removepatch.sh
