Problem
How to save the Pair Log for a VERITAS Replication Exec (VRE) job
Solution
Pair logs contain information about the activity taking place between the Source and Target servers in a Job.
To save the VRE pair log, follow the steps below:
1. Start the VRE Administrator Console.
2. Select the "Jobs" tab.
3. Right-click the relevant job name and select "Monitor Job"
4. Select a pair in the list.
5. Click View Pair Log. (Figure 1)

6. If prompted, choose the desired number of log entries to be displayed.
7. The Pair Log will be opened in Windows Notepad.
6. Chose File | Save As and note the folder to which the file "VRE_RepPairLog.txt" will be saved. The default location is C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Replication Exec\Logs.
