How to manually start and stop the Remote Agent for Macintosh Servers (RAMS)
Solution
To start the RAMS Agent:
1. Connect to the target Macintosh computer as the root user using a terminal session.
2. Issue the following startup command:
# SyStemStarter start VRTSrams or # sudo SyStemStarter start VRTSrams
Steps to manually stop the Remote Agent for Macintosh Systems daemon
1. Connect to the target Macintosh computer as the root user using a terminal session.
2. Issue the following stop command:
# SyStemStarter stop VRTSrams or # sudo SyStemStarter stop VRTSrams
