CommandCentral Storage (CCS) installation can fail if there are more than 200 domains listed for the VERITAS Authorization Service (VxAZ) component.

To correct the installation failure:

1. Remove CCS via Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel

2. Confirm the VERITAS Security Services - VERITAS Authentication Service (VxAT) and VxAZ remain installed

3. Replace the vxazd.exe according to the README below

4. Install CCS

- INSTRUCTION HOW TO APPLY THE FIXED BINARY FILE:

As the VxAT & VxAZ packages are already installed, only the vxazd.exe binary needs to be replaced.

1) Stop the VxAZ service via the Service Panel

2) Download and replace the attached vxazd.exe binary.
    a) Using Explorer, browse to C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Security\Authorization\bin
    b) Rename vxazd.exe to vxazd.exe.orig
    c) Copy the new vxazd.exe into the directory

3) Using the Services Panel, start the VxAZ service

4) Test the new VxAZ binary

a) Open a command window

b) cd to C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Security\Authorization\bin

c) Type the following command vssaz listrcs

d) Data should be returned

5) Clean up the previous install from the CCS install.  This may requires cleaning up the registry
   and some of the installed directories.

6) Run the CCS installer (setup.exe)

   The installer should recognize that VxAT & VxAZ are already installed.  It will then proceed
   to install the remaining packages.
