Troubleshooting:
Review the NetBackup version on the clients which are failing to backup correctly.
Log files: N/A
Resolution:
Upgrade the client software. In the instance where this issue was observed, the client was still running NetBackup 3.4, a significantly older version of the NetBackup software, and one which has reached end of life (EOL) for support.
