This hotfix can only be applied
to the following versions of Enterprise Vault for:
Symantec Enterprise Vault
Compliance Accelerator 2007 SP1, Build 4181
Symantec Enterprise Vault
Discovery Accelerator 2007 SP1, Build 4181
What issue does this hotfix resolve?
Scheduled searches for
yesterday/last seven days etc not running correctly.
Which files and stored procedures does this hotfix
replace?
AcceleratorSearch.dll
sp_VaultSearches_PreProcess.sql
How to install this hotfix:
Compliance Accelerator Server
1. Stop the Enterprise Vault
Accelerator Manager service.
2. Backup the Compliance
Accelerator customer database(s).
3. Move the following files from
the installation directory and store in a safe location:
..\Program Files\Enterprise
Vault Business Accelerator\AcceleratorSearch.dll
..\ComplianceWeb\Bin\AcceleratorSearch.dll
4. Place the file from the zip
into the locations mentioned in Step 3.
..\Files\AcceleratorSearch.dll
5. Open Query Analyzer and run
the following SQL script against the Compliance Accelerator customer
database(s).
..\Files\Etrack1147367.sql
6. Start the Enterprise Vault
Accelerator Manager service.
Discovery Accelerator Server
1. Stop the Enterprise Vault
Accelerator Manager service.
2. Backup the Discovery
Accelerator customer database(s).
3. Move the following files from
the installation directory and store in a safe location:
..\Program Files\Enterprise
Vault Business Accelerator\AcceleratorSearch.dll
..\DiscoveryWeb\Bin\AcceleratorSearch.dll
4. Place the file from the zip
into the locations mentioned in Step 3.
..\Files\AcceleratorSearch.dll
5. Open Query Analyzer and run
the following SQL script against the Discovery Accelerator customer
database(s).
..\Files\Etrack1147367.sql
6. Start the Enterprise Vault
Accelerator Manager service.
How to uninstall this hotfix:
Compliance Accelerator Server
1. Stop the Enterprise Vault
Accelerator Manager service.
2. In the Compliance Accelerator
directory, copy the following files from the safe location into the original
location.
..\AcceleratorSearch.dll
..\ComplianceWeb\Bin\AcceleratorSearch.dll
3. Restore the Compliance
Accelerator customer database(s) from backup.
4. Start the Enterprise Vault
Accelerator Manager service.
Discovery Accelerator Server
1. Stop the Enterprise Vault
Accelerator Manager service.
2. In the Discovery Accelerator
directory, copy the following files from the safe location into the original
location.
..\AcceleratorSearch.dll
..\DiscoveryWeb\Bin\AcceleratorSearch.dll
3. Restore the Discovery
Accelerator customer database(s) from backup.
4. Start the Enterprise Vault
Accelerator Manager service.
