Blue screen error after restoring an image to a VMWare session using the Restore AnyWare Option (RAO)

Solution

Issue:
After restoring an image to a VMware session using the VDK tools and P2V reconfiguration utilities in Restore Anyware, the VMWare session generates a blue screen error when starting.

Solution:
This problem is usually caused by an incorrect parameter for the /prod switch. The version of VMWare will need to be used and the appropriate ID for the /prod switch entered.  For example:

GSX 3.x server - /prod:6
VMWare workstation 4.5.2 - /prod:1
