Problem
Installation of SQL Express fails with the error "unable to load sqlboot.dll" when attempting to reinstall Backup Exec for Windows Servers (BEWS)
Error
Unable to load sqlboot.dll
Cause
This issue occurs because XML 6 is not installed properly.
Solution
To resolve the issue, uninstall XML6 from Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs and reinstall it. The SQL Express BKUPExec Instance should install successfully afterward.
