What issue does this hotfix resolve?

In a Review set, highlighting an item will display "loading..."  in the Preview pane for several minutes and eventually:

 


What file(s) does this hotfix replace?

AcceleratorCommon.dll


How to install this hotfix:

1. Before installing this Hotfix, stop the "Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager Service" from the Services control snap in.

2. Stop the EVBAAdmin and EVBACompliance IIS worker processes by recycling the appropriate Application Pools in IIS Manager.
For Compliance Accelerator 6.0 SP3, this will be the DefaultAppPool:

Start > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
Under Application Pools right click on DefaultAppPool and choose Recycle.

NOTE:  This will ensure the processes are not locked.

3. Create a backup copy of:  Program Files\KVS\Business Accelerator - Compliance\AcceleratorCommon.dll

4. Replace the three AcceleratorCommon.dll files at the following locations with the AcceleratorCommon.dll file provided in this hotfix.

Program Files\KVS\Business Accelerator - Compliance\AcceleratorCommon.dll
Program Files\KVS\Business Accelerator - Compliance\AcceleratorAdminWeb\Bin\AcceleratorCommon.dll
Program Files\KVS\Business Accelerator - Compliance\ComplianceWeb\Bin\AcceleratorCommon.dll

5. Restart "Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager Service" from the Services control snap in.


How to uninstall this hotfix:

1. Stop the "Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager Service" from the Services control snap in.

2. Stop the EVBAAdmin and EVBACompliance IIS worker processes by recycling the appropriate Application Pools in IIS Manager.
For Compliance Accelerator 6.0 SP3, this will be the DefaultAppPool:

Start > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
Under Application Pools right click on DefaultAppPool and choose Recycle.

NOTE:  This will ensure the processes are not locked.
