Searches remain in 'Not Started' state


Solution



OVERVIEW:
This condition can occur when the Accelerator license is not properly installed or the Customer Background Task current status is not 'Running'.

SOLUTION:
1. Place a copy of the SLF license file into the root of the Accelerator installation folder. Default location \Program Files\Enterprise Vault Business Accelerator.

2. Restart the Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager Service.

3. Verify the SLF file was copied into the \Enterprise Vault Business Accelerator\Installed Licenses.

4. Open the Accelerator Administrative web page http://localhost/EVBAAdmin

5. Highlight the customer from the left pane and verify the Customer Background Task current status is 'Running'.  If 'Stopped' start the Customer Background Task from the left pane by right-clicking the customer and selecting Customer Background Task.  The right pane automatically refreshes as the Customer Background Task current status changes from Stopped through Starting to Running.
