Problem
DOCUMENTATION: There is no Symantec Veritas 64 bit tape driver for NetBackup available. Device drivers are only provided for 32 bit Windows servers.
Solution
As mentioned in the Veritas NetBackup Enterprise Server and
Server Hardware Compatibility Lists (linked below):
"The Symantec-Veritas tape driver is not compatible with 64-bit Itanium (IA-64) or x64 Windows. The manufacturer's most recent driver should be used with Itanium or x64 based Windows."
