Solution




The Backup Exec System Recovery Option is a separate product from Backup Exec for Windows Servers 11d and above.  It is not an additional option/agent added to Backup Exec for Windows.  To use this feature, please perform the following steps:


1.) Go to the following site and enter the desired language:

https://fileconnect.symantec.com/

2.) Enter the serial number for Backup Exec System Recovery Option.

3.) Select the Backup Exec for Windows Servers link.

4.) Scroll down and look for BESROpt.

5.) Download the multilanguage.zip file to install the program the BESROpt SRD file to create a bootable recovery disk for disaster recovery using Backup Exec System Recovery.
