Upgrade of a Rollup client to CCS5.0RP1 (CommandCentral Storage) breaks the Rollup of data to CommandCentral Enterprise Reporter (CCER) 5.0 due to a column name change in a CCS database view 'ccstor.v_switch_port'.

Error

ASA Error -143: Column 'PortType' not found
ASA Error -143: Column 'PortState' not found

Solution

In CCS5.0RP1 column name in database view 'ccstor.v_switch_port' changed from 'PortType' to 'Port_Type' and 'PortState' to 'Port_State'.

Download the attached file Post_CCS5RP1_rollup_300643.zip and extract the replacement files to a temporary directory.
They will be used to update the CCS5.0RP1 Management Server (MS) when Rollups are performed.
Follow the steps below:
Note: Default installation paths are assumed

1) Download and unzip the files from the archive into /tmp
Using the Solaris command mv
a) rename "switch_data.sql" located in /opt/VRTSccer/etl/db_source_scripts/ccstor_5_0/ to switch_data.sql.org
mv  /opt/VRTSccer/etl/db_source_scripts/ccstor_5_0/ to switch_data.sql /opt/VRTSccer/etl/db_source_scripts/ccstor_5_0/ to switch_data.sql.org
b) rename "host_data.sql" located in /opt/VRTSccer/etl/db_source_scripts/ccstor_5_0/ to host_data.sql.org
mv  /opt/VRTSccer/etl/db_source_scripts/ccstor_5_0/ to host_data.sql /opt/VRTSccer/etl/db_source_scripts/ccstor_5_0/ to host_data.sql.org
2) using the Solaris command cp
a) copy /tmp/switch_data.sql to the Rollup scripts directory located in /opt/VRTSccer/etl/db_source_scripts/ccstor_5_0/
cp  /tmp/switch_data.sql  opt/VRTSccer/etl/db_source_scripts/ccstor_5_0/
b) copy /tmp/host_data.sql to the Rollup scripts directory located in /opt/VRTSccer/etl/db_source_scripts/ccstor_5_0/
cp /tmp/host_data.sql /opt/VRTSccer/etl/db_source_scripts/ccstor_5_0/
3) cd /opt/VRTSccer/bin/

4) . ./setenv.sh
Note: the preceding period is required to source the environment

5) run ./set_rollup_source.sh with appropriate parameters.

Note: syntax
./set_rollup_source.sh <ccstorage_type> <ccstorage_host> <ccstorage_host_ip> <db_user> <db_pass> <db_name> <db_eng>

where ccstorage_type can be ccstor_4_3 or ccstor_5_0
e.g. for Command Central 4.3 Server
./set_rollup_source.sh ccstor_4_3 ccstorage_host_name 10.68.14.57 sahara st0ne vxcc veritas_dbms_nodename
e.g. for Command Central 5.0 Server
./set_rollup_source.sh ccstor_5_0 ccstorage_host_name 10.68.14.57 sahara st0ne ccstor veritas_dbms3_nodename

6) An error may display as follows - "DBD::ASAny::st execute failed: Primary key for table 'saharainfo' is not unique(DBD: execute failed) at set_remote_cc_source.pl line 236."
Note:This error can be safely ignored

7) start Rollup again from the CCER-WEB-GUI
Login to the web GUI
Click the Settings tab then the Data Rollup Configuration selection and choose Data Sources
Select a host by checking the radial button and click on the disk icon to generate a Rollup
Note: See picture below

Acknowledge the popup to initiate the Rollup process

Watch the status until completion and Rollup should report successful
