Is it possible to EXCLUDE drivers from a custom Recovery CD?

Solution

The custom SRD wizard does not provide any functionality for REMOVING drivers from the recovery environment. It is used only to ADD drivers that are not included by default. Symantec does not advocate or support manual manipulation of the Recovery Disk's ISO image.
The Symantec Recovery Disk can only use 32-bit drivers. The SRD is based on 32bit WinPE architecture. If the driver validation fails, 32bit drivers would then be need to be obtained from the original equipment manufacturer and added manually within the Custom Recovery Disk wizard for the Storage/Network device(s). Also, the driver files need to in the .inf format. Driver packages will need to be extracted to find the .inf file related to the driver for the device.
