Problem
No "Lotus Domino Database" Selections are available from a Lotus Domino 8 server in the Backup Selections List
Solution
This can occur because the Notes Agent on the Lotus Server cannot be called by the Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers (RAWS) to provide a list of Lotus Notes Resources for backup. To resolve this issue:
Warning: Incorrect use of the Windows registry editor may prevent the operating system from functioning properly. Great care should be taken when making changes to a Windows registry. Registry modifications should only be carried-out by persons experienced in the use of the registry editor application. It is recommended that a complete backup of the registry and workstation be made prior to making any registry changes.
1. Confirm the administrators group and system account has full control of the following registry hive: HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Symantec
2. Reinstall the Remote Agent.
3. Reboot the remote machine if necessary.
If the steps listed above do not resolve the issue, please contact Symantec Technical Support for further assistance.
