Problem
The first scheduled run of a backup job post Daylight Saving Time (DST) changes, may not occur if the job is scheduled via "Time Window". The job will be listed as "Missed" under "Job history"
Error
e000e020 - The job was scheduled to run, but the availability window closed before the job could start. There may not have been any destination devices available during the window, or the job may have been submitted to run when the window was closed.
Solution
1. Only the first scheduled run of every backup job is affected.
2. Only backup jobs which are scheduled to run as per "Time Window" are affected.
3. Subsequent runs of the scheduled backup job will complete successfully.
Resolution:
Due to changes in the scheduler, these sort of issues caused by the Daylight Saving Time (DST) changes should no longer be visible in Backup Exec 2012.
