BUG: Etrack 1239865 - "PureDisk DR backups to NBU are extremely slow on the first step building the CR directory listing"

SYMPTOM(S): PureDisk DR backups to NBU are extremely slow on the first step building the CR directory listing. While the DR workflow is active at the point of "Start the backup of the CR Data" per the DR workflow job log, a 'ps' command output shows a 'getfattr' process and multiple 'ls -l' processes that take an extremely long time to complete while building CR container lists.

RESOLUTION: Symantec has acknowledged that the above-mentioned issue (ETrack 1239865) is present in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned at the end of this article. Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. This issue is currently being considered by Symantec to be addressed in PureDisk Release Update 6.2.2:
