Problem
The "Create custom Symantec Recovery Disk CD" wizard hangs at 100% during the driver mining phase when 64-bit drivers are added to the Symantec Recovery Disk (SRD) on a 32-bit platform
Solution
This issue
occurs when trying to add 64-bit drivers to the custom SRD wizard on a 32 bit
platform. The cancel button is disabled and closing the wizard by clicking (X)
button generates a runtime error as follows:
"The
application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please
contact the application's support team for more information."
Workaround:
Provide the
appropriate drivers (32-bit drivers for a 32bit operating system being restored,
64-bit drivers for a 64 bit operating system) during the custom SRD creation
wizard.
