General error: record jobstep with id ''908013'' does not exist

Solution

ISSUE:
Record jobstep with id '908013' does not exist

ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS:
While running some jobs on a PureDisk server error is seen in the event logs for the PureDisk server.

EVIDENCE:
-> Message: PureDisk 6.5 Error
-> AgentID: 1000000000
-> Severity: 6
-> Errornumber: 0
-> Application: SPA-Webservices
-> Source: SPA-Webservices_Jobstep
-> Traceback:
-> Date: 2008-10-06
-> Time: 12:51:09
-> Description: Record jobstep with id '908013' does not exist

SOLUTION/WORKAROUND:
The is can vary from server to server.

1. This seems to be caused by workflow files being deleted from the /Storage/tmp folder while a job is still in progress.

Change the workflow for Maintenance and make sure to set the times on parameters tab up to a week instead of 4 days.

2. It is possible this could also happen from orphaned workflow files left in /Storage/tmp.

Make sure there are no workflow files that are stale and do not belong to any of the currently running jobs.
