BUG REPORT: PureDisk 6.5.0.1 Replication of Windows NTFS file system backups fail during polist import on the destination storagepool if the NTFS filesystem contained a space at the end and/or beginning of directory names. Additionally, 'Restore Files' from the original backup fails to display the child directories.

Solution
The
issue:
PureDisk
6.5.0.1 Replication of Windows client file system backups fails during polist
import on the destination storage pool if the Windows client filesystem(s)
contained a space at the end and/or beginning of a directory name. Additionally,
'Restore Files' file browsing of the original backup fails to display the child
directories of any directories with spaces in front or at the end of the
dreictory name. Note that restores are still possible by searching via the 'Find
Files' feature.
Troubleshooting:
The
replication job log on the destination PureDisk storagepool will report the
following error (directory shown is just an example):

Examination
of the Windows Server 2003 PureDisk client file system via Windows Explorer
revealed that a space existed at the end of the parent directory name that
appears in the Replication job log error and at the beginning of the first
sub-directory's directory name.
