Cause

The above error in Vxbsa log will be encountered if the account used to connect to Oracle server is not specified correctly under Database Access tab in Remote agent utility on the Oracle Server.

Solution

The account should be specified in DOMAINNAME\USERNAME (or SERVERNAME\USERNAME in case the oracle server is part of workgroup and not domain) format under Database Access tab and should match the account specified on the Backup Exec server under Tools-Options-Oracle-Modify List for the Oracle server.
