can only be applied to the following versions of Enterprise Vault
for:
Enterprise
Vault 8.0, Build 1405
What issue
does this hotfix resolve?
The NSFManager
is an EV component (it forms part of the ECM API) that is included in the
Accelerators client installation. It uses the standard EV code for initializing
the Notes runtime environment, but unfortunately this code does not work if the
Notes client was installed in multi-user mode.
Which files
does this hotfix replace?
KVS.EnterpriseVault.NSFManager.dll
How to
install this hotfix:
1.Ensure that
the Accelerator client is not running.
2.Go to your
Accelerator Client Installation folder (default location "C:\Documents and
Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application
Data\<Accelerator>\Client").
3.Move
"KVS.EnterpriseVault.NSFManager.dll" out of the install directory.
4.Copy the new
"KVS.EnterpriseVault.NSFManager.dll" into the install directory.
5.Start the
Accelerator client.
Note that if
multiple users are using the Accelerator Client on the same server,
the hotfix
needs to be installed for every client on the server.
