Problem
While pushing out the remote agent from Media server to any remote machine it gives an error, "Failed to create a push list file C:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Agents\ RAWS32\Updates\
Error

Cause
This error message occurs if there are missing or corrupted Backup Exec files or registry keys on the local media server.
Solution
To resolve this issue perform a repair install of Backup Exec so that it reinstalls corrupted files and registry keys.
To repair Backup Exec
1. Close the Backup Exec application.
2. Open Add remove programs
3. Select Symantec Backup Exec for Windows Servers, and then click Change.
4. On the Welcome panel, click Next.
5. Select Local Install and Repair, and then click Next. (Note: Make sure the option Remote Install is not selected)
6. Select Install and Finish.
7. Reboot the server
8. Attempt to push install the Backup Exec Remote Agent
NOTE: The Repair installation will not Reinstall the Backup Exec Database.
