Indexes that have rolled over aren't deleted when the Storage Expiry process deletes the entire contents of that index.

The Storage Expiry process will delete the contents of an archive once the archived messages have met the specified criteria.  In some cases, an individual archive will have indexes that rollover.  In the event that an index has rolled over and the Storage Expiry process has deleted the entire contents of that index, the index will not be deleted and will still be visible via the Enterprise Vault Administration Console.
