This hotfix can only be applied to the following version of Enterprise Vault Compliance Accelerator:
Enterprise Vault Compliance Accelerator 2007 SP3, Build 5169

What issue does this hotfix resolve?

When a long-running report is being generated (e.g. the 'Monitored IDs by Department' report), attempts to create another report fails with the error "An error occurred trying to access the report details.", and the error is also logged in the event log. Crystal Reports normally allows up to 3 concurrent uses of the runtime, but in some cases the runtime is only allowing a single use.

Program Files\Enterprise Vault Business Accelerator\ReportEngine.dll
Program Files\Enterprise Vault Business Accelerator\ComplianceWeb\Bin\ReportEngine.dll

How to install this hotfix:

1. Stop the "Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager" service.

2. Backup the Compliance Accelerator 'customer' database.

3. Copy the original files listed above to a safe location.  Replace the files with the files supplied with this hotfix.

4. Run the following SQL script (included in the hotfix) against the Compliance Accelerator 'customer' database.

Etrack1291021.sql

5. Start the "Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager" service.

How to uninstall this hotfix:

1. Stop the "Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager" service.

2. Restore the Compliance Accelerator 'customer' database.

3. Replace the files supplied with the hotfix with the original files.

4. Start the "Enterprise Vault Accelerator Manager" service.
