Selection list does not show any or a limited listing of selections for the Remote Agent for Macintosh Systems (RAMS)


Solution



This issue can occur for various reasons.  Please review some of the more common reasons below:
 
 
1. Permissions - It is recommended if the current account being utilized is allowing the server to be accessed but not all of the selections to be enumerated to attempt using the System Administrator and/or root accounts to connect to the Macintosh System.
 
2. Network Protocols - IPv6 being enabled on the Macintosh System, when the protocol is not used throughout the network, has been observed to occasionally cause this issue. To disable IPv6, logon to the Macintosh server (Graphical User Interface will be required) and click the Apple Icon -> System Preferences -> Network -> Configure IPv6 -> Off
